aurantium ssp amara is an evergreen tree with long and very fragrant flowers. Fragrant blossoms morph into abundant fruits, lasting for months. Orange Bitter oil is obtained by cold pressing, or needle puncturing, the peels of the fruit. The oil is characterized by a higher content of esters and lower aldehyde content than Sweet Orange oil. The color of the oil is yellow orange to darker orange. Orange Bitter Essential Oil has a fresh, dry, almost floral aroma with a rich, sweet, undertone.
